RideSkin began with a question I couldn’t ignore:
How do we move through a shared city without carrying the city with us?

On my commute from Battersea to Moorgate, I touched the same surfaces every Londoner does — bike handles, tube rails, lift buttons, screens. By the time I reached the office, it felt like the city was still on my hands.

  • Sanitisers faded too fast.

  • Gloves are inconvenient, clumsy, and need washing eventually.

  • Finding a washroom wasn’t always possible.

One cold morning, gripping a damp shared bike handle, the thought finally crystallised:
There has to be a cleaner, smarter way to move through this city.

That moment became RideSkin — a micro-thin protective film inspired by material science and refined like skincare. Fast-forming. Breathable. Invisible. A barrier that works quietly, lasts longer, and never interrupts your day. Not another sanitiser to stash in your bag — but a self-reinforcing protective layer that makes shared bike handlebars cleaner every time it’s used.  Perfect for micro-mobility riders, gym goers, and anyone who moves fast through public spaces.

If you love the freedom of shared transit but want a cleaner way to move through it, give it a try. Thank you for being part of the RideSkin journey.
